I am very happy that you, one of my readers, took the effort of writing this but more than that, took every second of time feeling and understanding the emotions left unwritten.
As your teacher, a big round of applause, I am more than proud, not because I taught you so well but because you’ve grown into the finest writer I could never imagined.
As a big sister-friend, I am happy that despite lack of words on my story telling in person, you made it a point to understand even if I could not understand it myself. Whatever that is.
While I intentionally left the pieces of the poems hanging (and scattered), the review talked about those missing pieces and the words that could not presented literally and emotionally.

Afterthought is a self-embracing yet openly honest poetry collection from the author’s grounded collective memories on love and loss.
In her most vulnerable book to date, Claudette Galacgac turns her experiences into words that may be too hard to be spoken to, but too heavy to be left unwritten from.
The book takes you through a journey told in three separate sections: antecedent, trance, reminiscence.
Antecedent allows us to see through the confusion of why we put up walls, and yet long for love at the same time. Poems that seemingly evoke both desire and distrust, and the paradoxical endeavor of guarding a wary, wanting heart.
Antecedentmay be my favorite chapter of the book. A solid starting section that sets up what the whole book might be about – a doomed romance.
